The old cathedral of the city of Véria, is one of the oldest Byzantine churches in the peninsula of Émos ( Αίμος ), built in 1070-1080.
Rehabilitation and reinforcement of the existing quadruple wooden roof of the central aisle was carried out. The overall floor plan dimensions are 29,50x10,50m. It consists of 13 beams about 2,10 meters high and 9,60 meters long.
