OGIGOU 16 STUDY-CONSTRUCTION OF PRESERVED BUILDING IN PSYRRI

The restoration of this preserved building is done regarding the elements of the original building, the typology and architecture. In this context, they are all preserved in their original orientation and functionality by maintaining the wooden interior frames, repairing the plaster decorative or replacing where this is not feasible, removing and replacing sanitary items, replacing the metal staircase, maintenance of all wooden floors and replacement of the floors where they are worn. All outer frames are preserved and retained and the wooden shutters are replaced with new, similar to the old ones. The metal shutters on the ground floor are also preserved.

All water supply and sewerage systems as well as all the electrical networks, in order to serve the modern needs will be replaced.

Regarding the colors and with respect to the architectural language of the area, on the facade of the building, a light yellow color is proposed for the exterior walls and a dark gray for the window frames.
